
For feudal pagans, reforming makes it possible to raise crown authority to any level. Depending on the spread of the faith before reformation, heresy may or may not become a major issue. The reformer's courtiers at home, dynasty members, and vassals will always follow in the reformation if they are below playable tier. Another approach is to try new mechanics (to pick Haruspicy, Animism, Veneration) or to add useful abilities to existing faiths (e.g. Check back as new material is added! It also adds Celtic Paganism, Basque Paganism, Egyptian Paganism, Atenism, Canaanite Pagnaism, Mesopotamian Paganism, Arabian Paganism, Roman Paganism (separate from Hellenism), Mithraism and Etruscan Paganism. These are not immediately obvious before reformation, or even immediately upon reformation. The other pagan faiths have a duke-level religious leader who becomes a vassal of the reforming ruler, similar to the Orthodox religion's patriarch. Equality allows the player to not only land females, but also to get even higher scores since female dynasts could have consorts, who as concubines provides prestige.
